Hi LaMona,
From Leonhart Kegel, my line descends as follows:
1. David Johan Theobald Cagle
2. Henry Cagle (d. 1837 Hardin County, Tennessee)
3. Henry Cagle (d. 1857 New Madrid, Missouri, {presumes death place since
1850 census places him in county})
4. George Cagle (b. 1824, 1880 census places him in Fannin County, Texas
alongside his son John Cagle.)
5. John Cagle (b. 1853 New Madrid, Missouri, d. 23 Feb 1912 Morehouse
Village, New Madrid County, Missouri.)
6. William James Cagle - (b. 3-31-1881 Morehouse Village, New Madrid,
Missouri, d. 3-8-1940 burial in Essex, Scott, Missouri) This is where my
grandfather confirmed connection as he was old enough to remember his
Grandpa Cagle and confirmed that they lived for many years in the Morehouse
area.
7. Luther Thomas Cagle (b. 4-20-1905 Sikeston, Scott County, Missouri, d. 8
March 1970 Poplar Bluff, Butler County, Missouri
8. Luther Herman Cagle (b. 1933 New Madrid, Missouri, d. 10 July 2014
Malden, Dunklin, Missouri.)
9. My mother, Kimela
10. Myself, Micah (Allen) Taylor
I hope this helps. I did not include wives because there are a lot of
questions on accuracy for some of them.
Thanks,
Micah

I’m from a long line of Missouri Cagles and he does not belong to my line
(back to 1820.) My Cagles don’t get out of the Missouri Bootheel until a
quick jaunt to Fannin County, Texas somewhere between 1880-1900 and a
return by 1900 to the Bootheel again. Henry County is Central Western
portion of MO - close to Kansas border.

Micah & List,
Like you i have many Missouri Cagle's, also. But i have never heard of
Print Cagle.
What is odd is he should have been in the 1900 census for the Missouri
State Penitentiary, in Jefferson City.
He wasn't there and nothing in the general population. On a different note
James Earl Ray, escaped from this prison in a delivery van and as we know
the rest is history.
Maybe someone else on our list has a record for Print Cagle.Best Regards,
Earl D. Cagle Sr.
