Dana and John,
I also am interested in this Cagle line. I have been led to believe that
John Cagle, son of "Johann Dewalt" David Cagle born 1728 Ger., migrated to
Davidson Co., TN and died in Robertson Co., TN in 1826. It is my
understanding that the Cagle family did not leave PA until ca 1753-54,
arriving the Moore Co., NC area about that time.
My ancestor is Henry Cagle, Sr., ca 1760-ca 1837, also thought to be a son
of David Cagle, 1728-ca 1784. He apparently was born in Moore Co., moved to
Mecklenburg-Cabarrus then Montgomery Co., NC before moving to Hardin County
TN ca 1831-32.
David

John,
I am very interested in John Cagle (1782-1852/4) that you show below as a
son of
the John b 1744 who married Elizabeth.
Would appreciate what you have and/or where I can find documentation
linking these
Johns as father and son. Many thanks.
Dana
