Otis Henry Cagle, 95, of Malden, Mo., died Thursday, Dec. 22, 2005, at
Beverly Healthcare in Malden, Mo.
Born Jan. 13, 1910, in Savannah, Tenn., son of the late Lloyd Hassen and
Carrie Turner Cagle, he was a farmer and of the Baptist faith.
On Sept. 5, 1932, in Corinth, Miss., he married Nellie Jane Bowling, who
preceded him in death on Jan. 14, 1978. He was also preceded in death by one son,
John Cagle; one brother, Robert Cagle and two sisters, Ruth Delaney and Kate
Blackwelder.
Survivors include three daughters, Joyce Bruce and Jayne Miller, both of
Malden and Nancy Willis, of St. Charles, Mo.; one son James Cagle, of Campbell,
Mo.; two brothers, Burnace Cagle, of Lawrenceburg, Tenn., and L.H. Cagle Jr., of
Savannah; two sisters, Grace Holt and Eunice Haggard, both of Savannah; 12
grandchildren and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 27, at the Shackelford Funeral
Home in Savannah.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 27, at the Shackelford
Funeral Home Chapel.
Burial will follow at the New Harmony Cemetery in Savannah
