I recently got this e-mail. Can you all read it and let me know if you're
familiar with these people?
"hello, brandon. i don't know if you have this information or not, but just
in case...
"my aunt has an old bible that has a bunch of handwritten birth & death
dates
in it. nearly all of them i have identified as family members. one of
them,
though, is for henry c. cagle. it states:
"Henry C. Cagle was borned the 10 day of August a.d. 1844.
"until today, i had no idea who this henry cagle was. however, i discovered
that he died on nov. 8, 1874 and is buried in johnston cemetery, randolph
county, arkansas. i have just e-mailed my aunt to verify his birthdate,
since his
birthdate online is given as august 16, not august 10.
"also, i have found that he married sarah e. griffen in 1868. then sarah
married thomas s. winningham on nov. 28, 1875. both marriages were in
randolph
county. i have no children listed for either marriage. do you have any??
"i'm guessing the reason henry is in my aunt's bible is because of his
wife's
winningham connection. the winninghams and watsons families intermarried a
few times in the 1800s. if you have info on henry's siblings and parents
and
any children he & sarah might have had, i would love to trade with you."
