Gerald, I am interested in what information your anaylsis provided. Did it identify the
markers and if so how many did it include? The testing that the Cagle project is set up
on is actually through Familytree DNA. I went with the maximum Y-chromosome analysis
available. I am also sponsoring my mother's brother which of course gets my maternal
grandfather's Y-DNA. With him I had his mother's DNA analyzed to determine if
there might be Native American ancestry (none found). I had my daughter's analyzed
which gives basically her mother's mitochondria DNA. With all of them was provided
their haplogroup, in essence their area of origin. When I get my results I will post
them, which in essence will be the DNA back to Leonhart Kegel who immigrated from Germany.
They will also advise me and anyone that matches of any matches to my DNA as it comes to
be known. Gerald thanks for your interest. Best wishes, Earl
