We were lucky. The only thing we lost was COX which, in our case, was phone, TV,
internet, etc. The TV still worked so we caught up on watching movies we had bought and
never seen. Caught up on paperwork, etc. We had heat but, we closed off the den and
turned on the fireplace just for fun.
Soon the Mexicans were here with offers to clean up the yard from broken limbs and
destroyed trees. We soon negotiated a deal to clean up the yard and take out 4 destroyed
trees for $2,500. I don't know if any of this is covered by insurance. I guess I
will find out later.
