Jeanie & LaMona,My resources for John G. Cagle, are pretty much what you have. As far
as i know he published his last
newsletters in the earl 2000's period. This is what information i have for him :
The Cagle Journal of Historical Inquiry

Cagle census records of the South, 1860-1910 by John G. Cagle
1 edition - first published in 1987
According to what i know he was born 8-9-1947 so 70 years old. He is about eight months
younger than me.LaMona, these are books i know he has published. There may be others i
don't know about.I tried contacting him by the above phone with no luck. A recorded
message says his mail box is full, and is notaccepting anymore messages.Jeanie, you may
try writing to him at his last known mailing address. If your letter comes back then that
tells me anyway, that he doesn't want to be contacted. As to if he is still alive today
i couldn't say.LaMona, you gave her the best advice as to buying his newsletters and
or books from a list member. As for me i don't have a complete collection for his
newsletters.Jeanie, If you need help with a certain Cagle line, one of us on our list can
more than likely help her.Her best option also is to search our Cagle archives for someone

The list was started by me in September 1998. And as you know LaMona, there is a lot of
data available.Best Regards,Earl D. Cagle Sr.
