I know that some of you keep up with a list of all Cagles and that obits help in research
as they have helped me greatly in the past so I'm posting this and if anyone can
connect with my line, even better. I just couldn't bring myself to post it until
later. Joyce married into the Cagle family. Her husband Luther Herman's parents were
Luther Thomas Cagle and Vera Beatrice Moore Cagle. His ancestry is as follows (Leonhart,
David Johan Theobald, Henry Sr., Henry Jr., George, John C., William, Luther Thomas). Hope
this helps anyone who is trying to keep up with all those Cagles out there. My Cagle line
has stayed in the Dunklin County/New Madrid County area for a full century and except for
a short time in Fannin County, Texas in the 1880's - 1890's, has mostly remained
here. I grew up in Dunklin County as well. By the way, Cagle researchers of the DNA
project....I have four Cagle men still living that I might be able to convince to do this
project. Luther, his son Rod, and
Rod's two sons. Let me know what our line can do to help and I will see what I can
do. Thanks
