List:
I received a letter from Diana, Earl D Sr's wife, explaining what has been going on
with Earl and her the past few years. It seems Earl has been a pretty sick lad since Feb
2004. He has had a massive heart attack requiring triple by-pass surgery. He has also,
been diagnosed with Congestive Heart Failure and diabetes to boot.
He is not doing any Cagle research during his convelescence nor is he available to aid
others in their work. Diana moved him from Missouri in Dec 2006 to Florida in the hope it
would help her so that she would be better able to take care of Earl. Diana has had both
knees replaced and the Missouri cold weather only complicated the problem further. It
sounds like they have had a pretty rough go of it.
I will find out if it is alright to publish their phone and email on the list, but I can
easily envision 50 or 60 emails hitting them at once. If Diana agrees, I will let you
know.
Diana, with regard to researching your line, let me know if I can help you. If you need
help, send me all the information you have for the past three generations. If possible,
to start it is important in identifying the right John Doe, so date and place of birth,
marriage, and death helps. Also, the names of brothers and sisters, if you know them,
helps in identification. There isn't a lot of information available after 1930, but I
feel like you are probably more interested in ancestors from earlier times.
