Hi Randall!
Thanks for reaching out! Is Sequatchie County very close to Nashville? I just sent my line
to Earl. Idk if he puts that directly out to everyone or not. I'm so new, I have no
idea how this all works yet.
My line is NC to IN, where the family remains- primarily baby boomers. Sadly, we've
lost the older generation that could give us some info if they were willing. Problem is,
they weren't. That said many of the "Millennials" (I think they're
called) have spread out. I forget what they call my generation, "Gen X or Y ers"
I think, have also moved out for college, careers, etc. I live in central Illinios, but
haven't uncovered any connection to anyone outside of Clay Co, IN.
My major interest is all things personally connected to the ancestors. This includes but
not limited to pics, artifacts, stories, books, articles, heirlooms etc. Any type of info
that can offer some "real ness" of the person/family and their existence, ie.
our connection to them. Does that make sense? Of course, I realize this may be like
needles in a hay stack and my expectations are realistic, but just in case... :-)
Also, if you have any knowledge of places of interest to visit, homesteads, towns, museums
etc. I'd love for you to share! Any suggestions you have, I'm like a sponge right
now!
