I'd have to pull the original email and I am currently preparing two shows that will
begin auditions and rehearsals in less than one week. I apologize that I will not be able
to get that information to you anytime soon. I believe I tried to cite where I had found
those and the members of the list are correct - there is no way to prove it - only that
the information lines up somewhat. I did research the different towns and based on what I
found and the boundaries of different areas constantly changing, it is not improbable that
the record listed is our ancestors. But only not improbable and certainly not definite.

Hello List Members,This information was probably from Family Search. They have quite a
few resources for German genealogy.I have seen these references to a Leonhart Kegel, in
the past. However, there is no way of proving he is ourCagle ancestor. These records were
from different areas than he was known to live. There is a possibility that the records
refer to him. More research would need to be done.I can't imagine that he and his
wife, would not be in some German records. There has as you said been a fewpeople traveled
to Germany, seeking his ancestry.Regards,Earl D. Cagle Sr.

Back in January Micah Taylor posted information he had found from Family Search which had
the name of Leonhard's father and the maiden name of his wife.
I'm just wondering if this was out there how come no one found it so many years ago
when he was being researched by so many. I know some old researchers even went to Germany
to find records.
I just tried the page # I had written down and Family Search says it is invalid. I did
print the email and page though.
Just wondering what the Cagle list thinks of this information.
