Hello List,
With out a doubt, my favorite subject's in genealogy
are marriages & ship lists.
One of my favorite pastimes has been " surfing the
net". Of course I always bookmark my favorite sites.
This one here is a recent find on the internet.
So try your luck here at this ships list site. You may
get lucky, and find an early ancestor.

a cut & paste description:

The listing of ships provided here was initially based on A Bibliography
of Ship Passenger Lists 1538-1825, compiled by Harold Lancour, Third
Edition, The New York Public Library, 1963. Since beginning this
database, much material has been (and is being) added from a multitude
of sources. Due to the nature of some source documents, changing styles
of spelling and abbreviation, and the amount of data entry required,
errors and misinterpretations do occur. I apologize in advance for any
such problems for which I might be responsible. As always, if possible,
the original sources should be consulted. My intent is to aid in the
process of locating possible connections between family genealogies and
the passengers who arrived on these ships. Any additional information
regarding these ships, the passengers, and their descendants would be
greatly appreciated.

Might I add also that he has done a fine job:)
