Jerri,
Thanks for your response.
Valentine Cagle (Sr.) is not listed as a son in the will of John "Dutchman"
Cagle. I think Valentine is considered by most, to be the son of David Cagle,
b. 1728 Ger. David is thought to be a brother of John "Dutchman."

Hello,
My mother in law, Dortha Lorene Stokes is a desc. of Leonard Cagle, b.1683,
d.1754, and wife, Susanna. As follows:
Leonard Cagle/Susanna
John "Dutchman" Cagle/Catherine
Valentine Cagle/Catherine
Valentine Cagle II/Martha Jane Sane
Henry Cagle, Sr/Mary Musgrove/Musgrave
Martha Jane Cagle 1854-1933/Silas Stokes 1854-1921
Charles Stokes/Essie Jane Hubbs
Dortha Lorene Stokes b. 1921/Joseph Clyde Ritter
Stokes and Cagle's were in Marion County, AL, then to Clay County, AR.
