TN. John was the son of George Sr. 1750-1825 of Stanly Co. NC. Mazana
Cagle died in 1862 , part of her family remained in Tennessee, but most
moved to IL.
7 vi. Susannah * Cagle, born 1781 in Montgomery County, North
Carolina; died 1850 in Warren County, Tennessee. She married Charles *
Cagle 1804 in Moore County, North Carolina.

(widow of Charles Cagle of 1830 Bledsoe County, Tennessee and who died in
Warrn County, Tennesse 1843,
Susannah was the daughter of George Cagle and Rebecca Cagle . George was
the son of old David b-1728, . His younger brother Jacob b-1755 , was
the father of Charles Cagle . They were 1st. cousins, .Susannah went to
Bledsoe County, Tennessee.
After death of Charles Susannah lived with her son Henry Cagle and wife
Martha and children.
Susannah died after 1850. There is a will dated for Charles Cagle dated
September 25, 1842 , Warren County , TN. All of their children are
listed also the daughters husbands are listed. Other date for the will is
November 04, 1843, so he probably died a little earlier than this date
that was given above.

Charles Cagle, considering the uncertainty of this
mortal life and being of sound mind and memory,
blessed be Almighty God for the same, do make
and publish this my last will and testament. First
I give and bequeath unto my beloved wife Susannah
Cagle the home plantation, stock, furniture, tools, bee
hives, lands and property during her natural life to
manage as she think proper as to destroy nothing ,
and then to belong to my heirs: William Moffitt, Lewis
Carmack, David Cagle, Henry Cagle , Littleton Cagle,
A. J. Hill. I also bequeath to my daughter Margaret an
equal part of my estate with the rest of my heirs. I
appoint A. J. Hill and David Cagle my sole excutors.

Church, that is located a short distance from the Cagle Cemetery .

Elizabeth Miranda Springer Cagle (Janurary 4, 1789- September 11, 1861)
She is also buried in the Liberty Hill Baptist Church Cemetery, along with
her husband. This cemetery is near Stanfield, North Carolina.

Information from the Cagle Journal of Historical Inquiry. Dated May 1997.
Rebecca Cagle wife of George Whitley, is buried in the Liberty Hill Baptist
Church and it is located a short distance from the Cagle Cemetery , George
Cagle Sr. who died in 1825 and buried. Amoung the Cagle's, are two of
George's children , his son charles Cagle 1786-1864, and his daughter
Rebecca (Cagle) Whitley, 1791-1873.
Rebecca Cagle Whitley was divorced from George Whitley, Rebecca never
married after the divorce, and eventually was buried at Liberty Hill
Privitive Baptist Church in 1873, near her brother Charles Cagle 1786-1864,
and father .

George Whitley III , his home place in Montgomery County, is said to have
been near Big Bear Creek, near the Old Bridge, on what is presenly (as of
1974) the John Cavin Burris place.
