Hi Cagle cousins,
This information was sent to me by a kindly fellow researcher who enjoys
sharing data. Most of it has probably been published here before, but I
felt someone may benefit from her comments. I had to correct some of my own
information in my database.

Dear Doyle
I came across what you have put on Rootsweb on the Cagle family.
Although I am not working on this family, but on the Carmack
family, I have come across some information that you might not
have. I have been helping a cousin on the Cagle family.
Lewis Carmack married Rebecca Cagle, daughter of Charles Cagle.
I noticed you put allot of children born in Warren county and I
thought Charles Cagle didn't go into Warren County until about
1840.
Here is the information I have:
1830 Census of Bledsoe Co., TN
Charles Cagle
One male under 5, one male between 15-20, one male between 40-
50. One female under 5, one female 5-10, and one female 40-50.
Bledsoe County Civil districts and tax list:
1836
Charles Cagle
David Cagle
Henry Cagle
Litteton Cagle
1837 District 8
Charles Cagle
David Cagle
Litteton Cagle
Henry Cagle
Abraham Cagle
1838 District 8
Charles Cagle
Litteton Cagle
David Cagle
1839 District 8
Charles Cagle
David Cagle
Litteton
I also know he owned land in Bledsoe but do not have records on
them.
Also you have Rebecca Cagle Carmack death in Van Buren Co.,
MO. I know they were on the 1850 Van Buren Co., TN census.
Her tombstone is in Pulaski County, MO. She died 1 Jan 1958.
Lewis married again in 1958 in Pulaski Co.MO to Louisa Stuart
Conner. Their first child was born 17 Apr 1859. Lewis's brother
William is my line and he was already in Pulaski co when Lewis
came in. The Cagle and Carmacks families are close together on
the 1830 census in Bledsoe Co. TN.

I really like doing this work and when I come across someone that I think I
can add some information I do.
