I guess I should add my two cents worth to those of John, Gary and
Charles. My
Service was 1952 to 1962, US Air Force and 1976 to 1988, US Army. If my
memory
serves me right, I think memorial day was once called Veterans Day, then
Decoration
Day, and finally Memorial Day. Maybe someone else can remember. Seems
it was
first began following WW I, is that right?
