List,
I received the following e-mail from a relative who inturn received it
from another relative in
Ireland. I checked my hard drive and there it was. As far as I can
tell, it has done no harm
YET!!
I suggest all of you do the same because I have sent out quite a few
e-mail to the list and
to several individuals, as well, who are in my address book.
I apologize for any difficulties this might have caused you. I run anti
virus software continuously but, it apparently never caught it.

Dear friends and relatives:
This is Dick Manley, I received this from one of my relatives in
Ireland. Sure enough I found it in my computer. Please forgive as it
does use address book and you are in mine. Can't believe both Norton and
McAfee missed it.....Dick

Subject: Virus Alert
Hello All
I have just received an email from a friend about a virus which is spread
from address book to address book. I have located and deleted it. As you
are in my address book It may be advisable for you to do the same. It is
apparently undetectable by Norton and McAfee. Sorry about this.
1. Go to 'start' - then to 'find' or 'search' depending on your
computer.
2. In the 'search for files or folders' type in sulfnbk.exe - this is
the virus.
3. In the 'look in' make sure you are searching Drive C
4. Hit 'search' or 'find' button.
5. If this file shows up (it is an ugly blackish icon that will have the
name 'sulfnbk.exe') - DO NOT OPEN IT.
6. RIGHT click on the file - go to 'Delete' and LEFT click.
7. It will ask whether you wish to send it to the recycle bin, say 'YES'
8. Go to Windows or wherever you display your Recycle Bin and DOUBLE
click on it.
9. RIGHT click on 'sulfnbk.exe' and delete again or empty the bin. If
you do find it, send this email to all in your address book, because that
is how it is transferred.
