Dear Lee,
I can not thank you enogh for all the wonderful information you have sent to
me. I really appreciate it. I will be printing it off and studying it in more
detail.
I got this from JBCagle, Now there is some question here of the birth year of
Charles and JB is showing Jeremiah being born in AL but yet the census I have
shows TN. What documentation has been located to show it to be AL rather than
TN? I have not seen the 1850 census and knew nothing about it. Does it also
show TN or AL?
"I believe your Jeremiah from DeKalb Co., AL, may be the Jeremiah who died in
1861 in the Civil War. If so he is the son of Charles Cagle b. 1799. I show
that he was born ca 1829 in Al. This Jeremiah is shown in my new book, CAGLE
FAMILIES IN THE SOUTHERN STATES. Neither his wife or his children are shown
but his siblings are shown and his ancestry is complete to our first
ancestor, Leonhart Cagle.
Thanks to all for your kind help in this matter. Seems to be a great bunch of
people here like the JOBE-L I am listowner of.
