Here is more information.
Rachel Fox born 1804 in Burke County, NC married John Cagle born 1802 in Burke County, NC
on 14 Oct 1828 in Burke County, NC. Bondsmen on that MR were Henry Cagle, Hugh Fox and A.
Payne. Henry Cagle, John's brother, Hugh Fox maybe father or brother or uncle of
Rachel and A. Payne maybe some relation to Rachel's mother possibly being a
Paine/Payne. I have seen her father as Moses Fox but the trees have him having two large
families overlapping...not right and nothing concrete.
Thanks in advance for any help here.

Robie, for those of us who don’t know this line, can you share details? Children, parents,
dates, places, deaths, marriages, burials- anything you have. Otherwise, we will be
finding info that is new to us and may be sending it to you, and your response may be “I
already knew that”.

I have avoided working on this old Fox line as I knew it would be trouble. The Cagle
newsletters never addressed it, ones I have anyways, except she could have brother named
John.
For days now I have studied, googled, done research, etc. etc. and I still can't say
for sure who the parents or siblings are of Rachel Fox who married John Cagle are. I have
counted census enteries, logged and logged, etc.
Can anyone on the site tell me anything specific on Rachel Fox's family prior to her
marriage to John Cagle which is well documented. They are my 3rd Great Grandparents.
