MRS. WINCY CAGLE DIES AT HOME HERE
Has Been Member Of Methodist Church For Long Term Of Years-Burial At
Union Grove
Mrs. Wincy A. Cagle died at her home here July 1, at the age of 67.
She was a well known and highly respected woman throughout Randolph
County. She leaves a host of friends.
Six sons, four daughters, 28 grandchildren, three brothers, and three
sister(s) survive. All of her ten children are alive and most of them
were at her bedside when death came. Through these descendants and
relatives Mrs. Cagle was very well known in the state.
The deceased was a member of the Methodist church with which she had
been affiliated for a long term of years. Funeral service was held from
(next line is smeared & unreadable), Friday afternoon at two o'clock.
Interment was made in the church cemetery.
J.P. Cagle, husband of the deceased, who was a substantial and
esteemed resident of Asheboro, died two years ago.
