We were discussing passports into Indian land.
Neda, I did not find a passport for any Cagle's but in a book I picked up
(that was useless for me) it has a mention of them. It is a special
publication of the National Genealogical Society, Vol. 30, "Gone To Georgia,
Jackson and Gwinett Counties and Their Neighbors in the Western Migration."

62. CAGLE. Charles was in the 1805 Jackson County lottery. See Keigle No.

209. KEIGLE (usually CAGLE): Roger Keigle of Jackson County bought June 11,
1799 of Micajah Benge and William Hopkins, a tract in Jackson. In 1790, Roger
Cagle was enumerated in Moore County, N.C., along with Christian, David,
Henry, Leonard, George (2), Jacob, John and William, and others were in
Mecklenburg County, N.C. Charles Cagle was in the 1805 Jackson County
Lottery. In 1820, George Cagle was enumerated in Clarke County; Henry in
Jones County; and in Habersham County were George, Honor, Jacob, John and
William. Leonard Keegle was in Henry County, GA., in 1827.
