Dear All,
And while we're looking for connections to this Serena Cagle, maybe someone
knows of an earlier Serena (my ggggrandmother)? We periodically check --
she was born around 1820, maybe in TN, m. Robert Craig b.1818 and moved to
Williamson Co., IL (maybe in an area then included in Randolph Co.) before
the Civil War, since two of her sons enlisted in the Union Army in IL.
Maybe she was listed on an earlier census under a different given name?

Can anyone tell me where David Cagle fits. He married Elizabeth Griffin,
probably in NE Arkansas
and had a daughter, Serena Arminta Cagle b. 1872. Serena married William
Alfred Gowen b. 1861 on 24 Aug 1887 in Corning, Clay Co., AR. Both are
buried in Richwood Cemetery in Corning, Clay Co., AR.
