Lee,
We have about drawn the same conclusions re this family. I guess I would go
with that until something turns up. I think I corresponded once with
someone from this family. I'll look through my old notes and see what
shakes.

After reviewing this, I am convinced George was married twice and
Catherine Unknown
is the mother of Columbus. Considering the short duration of this likely
marriage, I would
expect Catherine's death probably resulted from child birth
complications. Of course,
this is pure speculation but, convincing enough for me to list Catherine
as the first wife
of George and Columbus as the only child of this marriage.
What do you think?
