was Eliza Louise Taylor,
don't know if this was her maiden name or married name.
Hopefully, this will help you with additional information on John David

the following spring and had purchased a 1914 For Touring car and a 1917

Notes for Martha Ellen Gholston:
Martha was about 4'-10 inches tall and weighed approximately 160 lbs. As
an old woman she had gray hair, always worn in a topknot on her head. She
wore small, round, gold rimmed spectacles and had pale blue eyes with a
slight twinkle in them. Though she had no teeth, she had a quick and easy
smile. She was a plump woman and always wore a white, bibbed apron over a
print dress that had long sleeves and a skirt that reached to her ankles.
She was extremely modest.
Martha was simply a really good unpretentious person who lived a clean,
decent life and who never intentionally harmed or did evil to any other
human being.
She did not possess anything that was nice or pretty. She did however
have one ivory-white vase with pink roses painted on it and a gold rim
around the top. This seemed to be her one source for beauty and cheer.
Wherever she lived she always grew flowers. Every fall she would pick the
best ones, dry them and arrange them in the one vase she had. Then she
would place them on an old buffet she had. She was a beautiful Christian
who would be on her knees every night and morning.
Much of her time was spent knitting or piecing quilts. Even in her latter
years she still continued to piece quilts as long as she had someone to
thread the needle for her.
She died at the age of eighty-one leaving fond memories in the heart of
those that new and loved her.
1900 Census of Cherokee Nation, Oklahoma , Territory, Martha was 33 years
old.
