Loton,
I am posting this to the Cagle List so that others with much more knowledge than I might help.
I descend from the original immigrant, Leonard Cagle, 1684-ca 1754, through David, 1728-ca 1784, then Henry Cagle Sr., ca 1760-ca 1837, then Henry Cagle Jr., 1780-1857; John Cagle, 1813-1879; Charles Cagle, 1844-1930; Lloyd H. Cagle, 1880-1970; then my 90 year old father who is living; then my self born in 1940 in Hardin County Tennessee.
Leonard Cagle probably died in PA while David Cagle died in the Mecklenburg-Cabarrus area of NC. Henry Sr., Henry Jr. and John, born in NC, made their way to Hardin County TN in the 1820's-30's. Henry Sr. and John both died there while Henry Jr. moved on to New Madrid Co., MO ca 1838. Henry Cagle Jr had at least one son, George, that moved to Fannin Co., TX and was there by 1880. He could have moved to OK or AR--I lost track of him.
John Cagle, 1813-1879, had a son Henry O. Cagle that moved to AR in 1879. He lived in Logan Co. then moved to Yell Co. AR were he lived until 1898. He died in Hardin Co., TN in 1899. Henry had one son, James Harlan Cagle who lived in AR and eventually moved to TX.
My g/grandfather, Charles T. Cagle was in "G" Co., First Confederate Cavalry while his brother Henry O. Cagle was in Phillips' Light Artillery. They both fought in Middle Tennessee and north Georgia and Alabama and both survived the war.

Concerning the Isaac Jackson Cagle
& Rachel Elizabeth Hill family. I have been in contact with Dianna Cagle,
her husband is the Cagle descendant. She knows all about Isaac Jackson
Cagle and has the wonderful photo of his family. Her last known e-mail
address is below. I have not had contact with her for several months, as I
have not been able to do any research. I am from another Cagle line, so
were not able to help one another. Sounds like the two of you could help
one another, though!!
Good luck!!
