Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb
My father, Isaac Elmus CAGLE (Malachi Augustus6, Isaac Jackson5, Joseph
Roland4, Jacob3, John Dutchman2, Leonhart1) married Julia Ella MAYNE about
1938. Her parents were George Ernest MAYNE and Julia Catherine HUNTER.
I know this is a long shot but does anyone have anything on any HUNTER's?
I'm stuck and need a fresh lead. Oh, this Cagle line comes from AL - the
Mayne's and Hunter's from AL, GA and possibly TN.
I've already done the expected and queried the Hunter list and the Mayne
list with no luck.
Thanks,
Donna
I try to send a e-mail, to let everone own the Cagle list, what I send own Copeland Bridge Cemetery ,was in Alabama Dekalb Co. and my e-mail came back.

I am searching for Maggie Cagle born about 1868/1869 in North Carolina or Arkansas. Her Father was born in NC and Her Mother in TN according to census. She was a servent on the Washington County Arkansas census in 1880. Maggie had at least one known brother possibly named William or Henry. He is believed to be younger than Maggie. Maggie Cagle married Mac Dodson April 12, 1885 in Arkansas. He died and she married Robert (Andrew?) Cox on November 10, 1889. They had one KNOWN child, Minnie who was born in 1892. They later moved to Kansas where Minnie married L. D. Ferguson in 1910.Maggie and Robert supposedly died in MO. or KS.

I too want to welcome you, Mary Louise, I am new also, and Lee said it
right. This is a very friendly helpful group. I married a Cagle from
John Dutchman line. But with all that Lee, David, John and others are
doing, I feel a kinship to them all. They have really helped me. My
husband died twenty years ago,but this feels like I am sharing something
with him. You are doing great, and Isn't it a fun thing to do? Happy
Hunting, Stella
I was researching the immigrant ship Loyal Judith , September 25, 1732. I found on the list #82 was Lenhart Kegell. It said transcriptions of these list include compiling from several oaths signed by the same passengers. Some will have a different spelling. Could this be Leonhart Kegel even though the spelling is different?

Welcome aboard, Mary.
I believe you will find our group very cooperative and helpful.
Here is information on your line to get you started. Mind you, this is
information I have
collected from many different sources, none of which has been
substantiated by hard
documentation; however, I believe it will be accurate enough for
starters. Please review
this information and if you have information to the contrary, let me
know.

Roberta,
You have the wrong date of birth for Johan Theobald Dewalt "David" Cagle.
He was
born 29 Apr 1728; therefore, he would have been 17 yrs at George's birth.
I believe
they were brothers.
