Robert Lee CAGE Son S Male W 10M KS PA PA
I assume this is your gg-gf John Cage: note the sons George, Walter and Robert Lee. John
was the son of Martin & Sarah Cage of Franklin, Greene Co. PA and is listed there with
them in both the 1850 & 1860 censuses. Martin was born around 1807; there is an Allen
Cage (b. ca. 1809/10) in Greene county 1840-1870, probably Martin's brother.
I've been stumped about Martin and Allen's parents, though I think they may have
been John Cage & Elizabeth Haines who were married on 21 Mar 1799 in Berkley Co. VA
(now WV).
I'd love to compare notes with you and Barbara and see what we can come up with.
