Hi All,
Found this info on Joyce Tice's website and was wondering if anyone knows
how Cady's point came about on Seneca Lake and if named after a Cady family
WHO.
Thanks,

ELMIRANS BOAT FOUND, MEN BELIEVED DROWNED
Belief that two Elmira men were drowned in Seneca Lake was strengthened
Tuesday afternoon when the rowboat they had rented for a Labor Day
fishing
trip was found overturned and with an outboard motor attached. The
boat
was
discovered at 5 p.m. by Cornelius Sackett, Dundee banker, off Cadys
Point,
about a mile north of the Ralph Heatley boat livery where the men
rented
the boat. The boat was sighted at the same time by James Haugh and Lewis
Millard, both of Dundee, who were flying over the lake.
