Hi everyone,
I am passing along this correspondence re the Library in Old Sturbridge
Village, Massachusetts. It would seem like a great place to research.
Have any of you been there? Is David Cady familiar to you?

I am sending you this in repsonse to your previous request for
more information of the Old Sturbridge Village Research Library.
The Research Library is open to the public and we have over
33,000 volumes covering the late 18th century and early 19th
century period up until 1840. We also have an equally impressive
manusript collection.
We do have manuscript papers on David Cady 1780-1857,
manuscript # 1986.83.1-.48. We also hold some other information
on the Cady family M# 1966.29 which includes Genealogy on Cady
& Messinger families in Wrentham, MA 1766-1841.
We also have an extensive Geneology collection. If this does not aid
you, I
suggest you contact the Sturbridge Historical Society and the
Sturbrige Public Library.
Our library hours are Monday-Friday 9-5pm and we are closed on
State Holidays.
Sincerely,
Colleen Couture
Librarian
