I'm sure the problems have nothing to do with Genetics. There are several cases where
cousins married. It would be interesting to do the 52 marker DNA test to see if it can
confirm the connection.
I have been working on finding a missing link to a well documented Cady branch. To that
end I have been cataloging Cady families from 1790-1800. A period when they were just
starting to move West and North. Allen has only 160 families, yet I have over 350 families
from that time frame. There are quite a few Charles, I'm inclined to think your
Charles is a generation younger. I have Ezekiel (1746-pg 57 of Desc of Nic Cady)but none
of his children. And Charles (b 1748 on pg55)who had a son Ezekiel (1791). So your Ezekiel
was named for his Uncle it appears. There was actually a formula for naming son's,
first and second were after the parents fathers, 3 for the father and later after Uncles.
Not always, but often. Sometime looking at the new born it was just "doesn't he
look like your brother -EK". you can write me direct at Jcady622(a)aol.com
