Hi:
I found this very interesting and it may explain what happened to a "side
branch" of my tree.
My ggg grandfather was Andrew Cady and came to Oneida County in about 1802
from CT and settled near the border of the towns of Remsen and Trenton. He
had two sons, Andrew Gilson Cady, and Benjamin Cady. Andrew Gilson Cady was
my gg grandfather and Benjamin a great uncle, therefore. Benjamin Cady was
b. about 1800 and married Hannah Smith. He had some children, including a
son named Benjamin, but I have not been able to find any further record of
Benjamin and Hannah's family after that. The "B.F. Cady" from South
Trenton,
Oneida Co., NY could have been this "uncle" Benjamin as that is the exact
area that my ggg grandfather Andrew settled in. The descendants of my gg
grandfather Andrew Cady are well searched and documented. But I have been
curious about Benjamin's family.
I have tracked down a few of the other Benjamin Cady families that were in
Oneida County around that time, but none of them match up.
Do you have any other information on B.F. Cady or who his parents were?
Thanks.
Dee

Dear Cady List,
I received these messages from a member of the regional list of Allamakee
County Iowa. Sharyl said it was OK to forward her query to the Cady list.

can't fit Isaac

My ggg-grandfather's brother Richard M. Pearson's grave in the Postville

<<The Cady family I found in Atlantic, Cass Co. IA (other than Isaac L.

Cady, a native of South Trenton, Oneida Co. NY; b. 1842; son of B.F.
Cady.
This Cady family removed to Cass Co. in 1870. Dewitt's mother was Betsey
M.
(Sherburne) Cady and Dewitt's wife was Hattie A. Owens of Oneida

Dewitt & Hattie had 3 children: Frank C., Mary E. and Clarence W.
I found B.F. Cady & wife and Dewitt G. Cady & wife all buried in the
