I'm a Cady offshoot from a family that emigrated from Bavaria to Pennsylvania in
mid-1800's. Mostly centered in New York. I see a lot of Cady mentions on the
bulleting from the Midwest, but I don't think we are related to them. My great
grandfather was Abraham Cady, his son Morey lived in Sherman NY until his death in 1922.
I think there's one generation previous to these in this country, still in PA.

Thank you so much for your answer to my post. I had
another reply and
maybe a connection. that person said they will send me a gedcom file. I
sure ly hope so. I was at the LDS. LIBRARY A WHILE BACK AND THEY HAD A
DRAWER FULL OF FILE CARDS ON THE cADY FAMILY, BUT they WERE GETTING READY
TO CLOSE SO i DIDN'T HAVE A CHANCE TO GET ANY HELP WITH THAT . i HAVE
BEEN ILL SO MUCH THAT i HAVEN'T FELT UP TO GOING BACK. seems like that
goes with getting older. I will be 75 next May. I love finding new
information about the different branches of my family. My surnames are
Cady,Swift, Howard, Burton,and Green. I have back to g-g-g-grandparents
on all but Cady. Have a great Holiday season. Mabel "Green"
