Hi Karen,
I was interested in your post since my Cady's took a similar route and ended
in MN. Mine went to Watonwan County which is next to Brown County. I did a
bit of looking around and see that Norm Rogers has some interesting
information on his site. He has
Watson Charles Cady b. 1830 NY
IN the 1850 census Columbia Twp, Columbia Co, WI
1850 Living with George Linton in July 1850 in Columbia
Father, Haziel E. Cady b 1809 CT/RI
Mother, Lucetta Russell b. 1811 CT
Marriage unknown
Children,
Clarence Cady b. 1870 WI
I looked at the Minnesota Federal Census for 1900 but didn't find Watson but
I did find in the 1910 Federal Census in Brown County, Burnstown twp. There
is a Clarence Cady who was born in WI and states his father as also being
born there. There is a Hays Cady listed there as well with the same birth
info for himself and his parents.
Hope some of this helps you out.
Good luck,
Janet

Subject: RE: [CADY ] Watson S. Cady
I have been looking for a Cady link from anyone, but haven't seen it.
My Cady is Watson S. Cady, born 7 Jun 1829 in Columbus, WI - died 18 Oct
1902 in Comfrey, MN. I have nothing further back or any of his
siblings.
