Sarah Cady b. 1802 probably Providence married to Alexander McFarland 1820
at the Beneficent Cong Church.
In 1850 Alexander and his son John E are living alone as Sarah has died in
1848. Alexander McFarland is living next door to Christopher Budlong
And his wife Waity.
Waity Budlong was b. Waite Lippitt Greene. She is the daughter of Mary
Lippitt and Amos Greene.
David Cady m. 1820 to Catherine Lippitt - previously he had married Nancy
Waterman. Catherine Lippitt is sister to Mary Lippitt wife of Amos Greene.
I think this is too much of a coincidence to ignore.
I do not think that Sarah is the daughter of David and Nancy Waterman but
that of David's brother Shubail and his wife Nancy Earle.
Shubail stays consistently in Providence - he lived near his father
Johnathan and his wife Nancy died in 1808 leaving him a widower with
children.
Shubail did remarry and I think that Sarah stayed with the Grandparents or
she went with the Earles.
In 1832 at 146 N MainStr - John Earle owned the building. In 1840 Alexander
and Sarah are living at 146 N Main but not with John Earle.
It is also interesting that Alkex and Sarah had a son named John E.
