Hello, Debby
My name is June Beckwith and I live near Twin Lakes. I am a Cady through
Nicholaus and Judith (Knapp) Cady, and their son, James and Hannah (Barron) Cady,
and their son, Sgt. John and Elizabeth (Stoughton) Cady, and their son,
Ebenezer and Prudence (Palmer) <grandparents of Elizabeth Cady Stanton> and their
undocumented daughter, Elizabeth (Cady) and Dr, Timothy Puffer, and their son,
Ira John and Charity (Pangborn) <2nd wife> Puffer, and their son, Solomon and
Clarissa Carolyn (Lown) Puffer, and their son, Ira and Clarissa Elizabeth
(Miller) Puffer, and their son, Irving Charles and Edna Mae (Webster) Puffer, who
were the parents of my mother.
If memory serves me right, I think Ezra was one of the first settlers in Twin
Lakes. I have often wondered how he descended from Nicholaus and Judith.
There are a couple other Cady families in this county, but the ones I have
contacted have said they did not come from Ezra.
Warm Regards,
June L. Beckwith
PS, do you have your line right? it seems you counted two people twice.
