The Cady name goes back to the Tribe of Gad in Israel. They were the warriors who
protected the Israelites.
The name change happened when the name wad chizzled in stone, and over time in the 1400
hundreds.. the stone wore down from weather conditions, since paper had not been invented
as yet, so it was read as Cad, then later the e was added. I believe the e was changed to
a y in America when Nathanial Cade came to America.

I'm still confused..... Am I understanding this correct....Cady is not
Irish,Scottish and Welsh...Cady name could be Dutch,English,German?
