I found this entry
1900; Census Place: Waterloo, Linn, Oregon; Roll: T623_1349; Page: 6B; Enumeration
District: 52.
Cady, Mary, Head, White, Female, Dec 1829, Widowed, Penn, Penn, Penn
It was taken 9 & 11 June, 1900, so either
1) Samuel died VERY early in the 1900's
2) It is the wrong Mary
3) Sam is out in the barn while Mary talks to the enumerator, holding his breath and
trying not to laugh.
There is a Mary Cady who dies 28 Apr 1911 in Linn County on the Oregon Death Index, but no
age given, so it may be her and may not. There is no one named Mary Cady or Samuel Cady in
Linn County in 1880.
