I found my copy of Ellen Larned's History of Windham County, and read thru the section
on on the Battle of Bunker Hill. Hundreds of men from Windham County, and esp. Pomfret
went to Boston to help with the defense in June 1775. So it is possible that Nathan Cady
did go. Larned lists about 3 officers from each regiment or company, but not the hundreds
of privates. Larned also did not mention Washington's Roll of Honor. The section is in
Larned's Volume II, pages 137-159.
