Daughter is from the second wife. Not sure where the 10 months comes in,
first wife died in 1898, baby by second wife was born in April 1900. The
daughter was born 10 months after they married, may that is the 10 months

Did I correctly read this to say the daughter was born 10 months after the
mother died?

Subject: [CADY] SAWYER - CADY Family Photograph
I've "rescued" an old photograph identified as Stowe SAWYER which was taken
at the Stevens Studio in Chicago, IL. The photograph is dated 18 Nov 1885
with Stowe appearing to be in his 20's or 30's at the time it was taken.
Based on limited research I was able to gather the following information
regarding Stowe and his family as follows:
Frank Stowe SAWYER was b. 9 Feb 1854 in Batavia, IL to parents Parker SAWYER
(b. 1818 or 1819 in VT) and Angeline Harriet STOWE (b. 18 Jun 1828 in
Poultney, VT). Frank was one of 4 children born to this couple including,
Clara Jane; Frank Stowe; Alvin; and Mary Elizabeth SAWYER all born between
1849 and 1857 in Hampton, NY; Batavia, IL; and Oconomowoc, WI.
Frank d. 23 Dec 1900 in Wisconsin. His grave marker indicates that he was
the Pastor of the Congregational Church from May 1892 to December 1900. He
is buried in the First Congregational Cemetery in South Milwaukee, WI. His
first wife is listed as Alice M. SAWYER (1864-1898). It appears that Frank
married a second time to Anna Louise CADY (b. 9 Nov 1874 in Excelsior, WI)
on 29 Jun 1899 and they had a dau Frances Marie SAWYER b. 22 Apr 1900 in
Milwaukee, WI.

I am hoping to locate someone from this SAWYER Family so that the photograph
can be returned to its rightful place, with family. If you are a member of
this family, or you know someone who might be, please contact me.
Thanks,
Shelley
