I received a letter about my supplemental from the DAR today stating that
Connecticut Men in the Revolution (page 186) where Nathan Cady is shown as
having served is a mistranscription. According to the DAR's genealogist this
service actually belongs to Nahum Cady. So I am back investigating the
possibility that Nathan Cady participated with a group of volunteers from
Pomfret at Bunker Hill in 1775. I have written to the town clerk of Pomfret to
see if the group of volunteers might have been mentioned in the town records.
