Persons with the Surname Cady came over in several waves. First in 1630 see "Nicholas Cady of Watertown,MA" by Orrin Perer. From 1715 to 1755 the Scotch-Irish came over, they were Presbyterian, anti-crown and settled south of New York. The later to arrive were the Irish Catholics who arrived after 1840.
Based on what you have, I suspect you are in the first group. One family who settled in MA and CT, but many moved to VT and NY and later to MI and has growing to several thousand families.
Chloe is on the 1850 Census in Johnsburgh, with Joseph Sanders. She is gone in 1860 and Joseph is living with Lucinda Sanders age 32(?)in Chester. In 1840,they are in Granville, Washington, NY. Check the Barborn Collection for Chloe's birth or marriage.
