This goes back to John Martindale born 1620 in England. But I did not have enough info to track your line. There were to many John's, William's and Jesse's. Documentation looks exceptionally solid.

I am not a professional Genealogist, but I have some time and like to help. Here are some leads:
1. the Chenoweth's are extremely well documented at
http://www.chenowethsite.com/ch7wwb1.htm
2. Martindales are well documented also at the above and at:
Familysearch.org
3. The Guyer's were an allied family of the Cady and Martindale lines and I ave not done much research. See Peru,IN (Miami County) where they were in abundance in the 1840's.
4. I am in the Cady line. Henry Lemming Cady line is the largest branch (Miami Co,IN). My line is his youngest brother James Curtis Cady. I have been in contact with a cousin in Henry's line who could be of help if you need it. Send me your email address to Jcady622(a)aol.com
I have a list of six generations at Geneaolgy.com/Cady which I have updated and revised. It is only a list with Birth and Dead dates.

Hey, Jan!
The children we have identified for Charles and Janatje are:
1. David Studdert - a misspelling of Stoddard - b. December 19, 1776, m.
1. June 21, 1796, Margaretha Rickert, m 2. January 19, 1815, Maria C. Poge,
they lived in Florence, Oneida, NY and he was an early partner of brother
Ezekiel in an iron stove business in Camden in 1819-21 and moved to Florence
when the business was sold;
2. Sarah Jane - May 07, 1778, m. Sander (Alexander) Van Breuckelen
(VanBrockelin), they eventually moved to Ontario, but also lived in various parts of
mid-America and had 13 children;
3. Susannah Hannah - March 07, 1780, m. ? Foscett -- (a daughter of my
Ezekiel and Adeline Carley Cady also married a Fosket in Palatine, IL in the mid
1800s and we've wondered if there was a connection badly spelled, but I've
never really looked into it);
4. John W. - July 06, 1782, m. Maria Cosobina Livingston;
5. Jane Cady, b 1784, m. Loren Edgerton;
6. Phillip Helmer, b May 15, 1786, m. 1 Fanny Edgerton, m. 2 Mary Eber
Rice, a relative of Ethan Allan;
7. Charles Jarvis, b. 1788, m. Lucy Morton -
8. Ezekiel, b. April 19, 1791, m. Adeline Carley - see Hannah's notes - b.
Caughawaga or Fonda, m. 1818 at Annsville, trekked to IL 1837, named and
settled Palatine, Cook, IL, die there 1873;
9. Delaney, b. September 18, 1792, m. William Carley, brother of Adeline
wife of Ezekiel;
10. Abigail, b. October 14, 1795, m. Anson Cook - they also went to IL about
the same time as Ezekiel, they lived fairly close to Ezekiel and Adeline
just over the State Line in Troy, Walworth, Wisconsin - Anson's name appears in
the early history of Palatine, IL;
11. Elizabeth (Betsey), b. December 03, 1795, m. Henry Armstrong;
12. Thomas, b. 1796 - a few Cadys and relatives had gone to CA during the
Gold Rush days and even prior to them - there is a notation "In the 1856
Directory for Nevada City, Nevada Co., California, there is listed a T. Cady, Lewis
Evans, M.B. Rice and Benj. Smith, all working as miners at Brush Creek."
The Rice is possibly a relative of Phillip's wife, Mary and Nevada City is near
the Donner Trail where a cousin, Charles Lewis, Jr was one of the 2nd rescue
party - C. L., Jr also had started the pony express from San Francisco to
Sacramento about the time of the gold discoveries.
We are still missing some names -
Stoddard Brimfield was the brother of Charles - the above C. L. was from his
line - These are my notes for Stoddard B. - we can find no evidence that
our Charles ever served in the Rev War --
Stoddard Brimfield Cady served as a Private, in Capt, Joseph Thompson's Co.,
Col Timothey Danielson's Regt. in the Massachusetts Division of the
Revolutionary War. Muster roll dated Aug. 1, 1775; enlisted April 29, 1775; service
3mos. 10 days; also, Corporal; company return dated Roxbury, Oct 6, 1775;
also, Private, Capt. Reuben Munn's Co., (late) Col. David Leonard's Reg.;
enlisted Mar. 1, 1777; discharged Mar 31, 1777; service 30 days; company detached
to reinforce army at Ticonderoga; also, Corporal, Capt. Daniel Winchester's
Co., Col. Ruggles Woodbridge's Regt.; engaged Aug 17, 1777; discharged Nov 29,
1777; service, 3 mos. 21 days, in Northern department, engagement, 3 months.

Subject: [CADY] Cadys in NY by 1760
Charles, son of Ezekiel and Abigail Stoddard Cady of Pomfret, CT, was one
of the first settlers in Fonda's Bush, Montgomery County, NY by 1775 when
he
married Jantje (Jane/Jennie) Helmer, daughter of Phillip J. and Elizabeth
Harris Helmer. Charles and Jane are supposed to have had at least 13
children
and we are still trying to identify at least half of them.
To those already noted in Montgomery County church records please add -
Ezekiel Cady, b. 19 April 1791 - d. 1 October 1873 at Palatine, Cook, IL m.
23
June 1818 in Annsville/Camden, Oneida, NY Adeline Carley, b. 14 July 1799
Ballstown, Albany/Saratoga, NY, daughter of Albert A. and Hannah Covey
Carley.

Looking for information on this family. Amanda married David Dickerson. They were my gg-grandparents. The Cady family lived in Michigan, Ypsilanti area. She had a brother Charles who married Theresa Begole and another brother Otis Hiram plus other siblings. Found Theresa Begole's family in census records. Thanks for information.

If you don't already have the information, I have a great deal on Mary Peach. She was the daughter of John and Jane (?) Peach, one of nine children: apparently Mary was the eldest. The family line goes back to Fayette County, then Maryland (Prince George's County), and before that, the Isle of Wight in England in the 1600's. As I said, I'd be glad to share this information on the Peach family with you if you don't already have it. You have a lot of Peach relatives!
