Crystal,
I have been researching Hammon Cadwell who was born in VT and his wife Laura
Hall who were married in Thetford, VT on 18 June 1837. I made a trip up
there last year and got some land records. Hammon and Laura moved to
Fillmore, Montgomery Co., IL and their son Harry C. Cadwell's obit states
they moved there when he was 12 , so it would have been about 1856 when they
moved. I went to Fillmore last year also and obtained land records one of
which states that Hammon was a single man and that record is dated 9 Jan
1882. I couldn't find a death record or any record of Laura there. Hammon
went on with his son and family to Pulaski Co., Mo and he is buried in the
Porter cem there. Would appreciate any help you can give. Sorry so long a
message but thought the details were important to finding her.
Thanks-Joyce

Hi Everyone,
It's been quite some time since we had a roll call. Who are your Cadwell
ancestors? Where did they live? Where are you stuck in your Cadwell
research? Please share
Crystal
