My Cadwell line has been traced from
Oregon>California>Colorado>Illinois>Missouri>Kentucky>North Carolina
(>New York or Massachusettes - somewhere in New England?). I'm stuck
(r-e-a-l-l-y STUCK) on James Cadwell born about 1729, Moore County,
North Carolina, and his son, John Cadwell, Born before 1755 in North
Caolina (I think)... and John's son, Moses Cadwell born 1796, Cades
Cove, North Carolina. I am descended through Moses Cadwell's son, Noah
Hampton Cadwell born 18 March 1824 in Kentucky, and Noah's son, Moses
Frank Cadwell born 29 January 1864 in New Salem, Illinois. My
grandfather Moses Frank Cadwell moved to Colorado, sired 18 children
throuh two wives. I'm descended from the second wife, Anna Raymonda
Shimonek, who gave birth to my mother, Emma Jane Cadwell in Colorado,
and who nowl lives in Oregon.
According to Family verbal history, our Cadwell's are
Irish/Scotish/Welsh.

Hi Everyone,
It's been quite some time since we had a roll call. Who are your
Cadwell
ancestors? Where did they live? Where are you stuck in your Cadwell
research? Please share
Crystal
