Generations", Ralph V. Wood, Jr. Picton Press, Camden, Maine.1996.
In my reply to your message on the bulletin board, I thought that I'd said that
Hannah Hathaway was the great granddaughter of William White, MF passenger. If not, I
apologize! I have it right here in front of me, and William is the ancestor on whose
record I was accepted into the MF Society of Descendants. ( I have at least two others,
Richard Warren and John Cooke.) (I think that anyone who has one MF ancestor, has at
least two or three others as well. I haven't gotten around to chasing down the
others that I think we're descended from, but one of these days, in my spare time(!!)
I hope to be able to chase them down.)
My line from Abner and Ruth (Brownell) White is through their dau Mary, who marr Joseph
Harris, who was the gg grandson of Thomas Harris, one of the first settlers of Block
Island, (RI). Then it was through the Marshall line and Cleveland line that it came down
to my sister and me.

Barbara in MO (but originally from NYC)
