This is someone in Australia who has done a lot of research into the Cadmans and has a
very good tree.
My part of the tree that she has stops with Henry Cadman b 1830 in Mossey Green,
Wellington, Shropshire. He was my Gt Gt Gt Grandfather. My Gt Gt Grandfather (one of
Henry's sons) was born abt 1868 in Wombridge Shropshire. His name was also Henry. He
is listed as a Telegraphic Messenger but later he became a Station Master at (I think)
Admaston Station where he came to an untimely end by being run over by an express train.
Samuel Parkes Cadman was his 1st Cousin.
My Gt Gt Grandfather Henry had 2 daughters, Eleanor and Dorothy Mary. Dorothy Mary was my
Gt Grandmother. I don't know her date of birth but she lived until some time in the
1980s. Dorothy Mary married a Fred Harley who was a railway signalman and they also had
two daughters, Edith Eleanor b 23.6.1916 and d 27.3.1006, and Elsie Mary who died in 2002.
Edith Eleanor was my Grandmother. She married Frank Clements who was Master of Signals in
the Royal Navy and in 1940 my mother was born and then me in 1965.
Hope this info is useful!
If anyone has any more I would be interested to hear from you. Or if you want to know
