The following obituary was published in The Vancouver Sun newspaper (British Columbia,

CADMAN -- Elizabeth, at Chelsey Park Nursing Home, Mississauga in her 96th year, December
23, 1996. Elizabeth passed peacefully to join her beloved husband Alfred Parkes Cadman.
They arrived in Montreal Park Extension from Sheffield, England in 1925. Alfred was
employed by the C.P.R. at Angus Shops. Elizabeth sang in St. Cuthbert's Church choir
for over 40 years and was church visitor to the sick and shut-ins. She is survived by
loving children Enid DORE of White Rock, B.C., Doreen and John MORTIMER of Crawford Park,
Quebec; Tom Cadman of Burlington, Ontario; Peter and Hilda May Cadman, Oakville, Ontario
and Walter and Brenda Cadman, Anmore, B.C. She will be fondly remembered by her 12
grandchildren whom she called her lovely precious jewels, Peter and Gail Dore, Marian,
Liz, Barb, Pete and Tom Cadman, John Mortimer, Derek and David Cadman and Bill and Bob
Cadman. She also has 17 great-grandchildren. The family wish to thank all the kind staff
of Chelsey Park Nursing Home wh!
o cared for her so lovingly. Cremation has taken place with interment at a later date.
