William WHITEHEAD and wife, formerly Emily CADE admrtx. of estate of Stephen
CADE, decd. vs John CADE and John BAKER.

Lydia WHITEHEAD, widow of William WHITEHEAD, filed her petition in probate
court, of Franklin County, claiming real and personal property belonging to
the estate of William WHITEHEAD, decd. WHITEHEAD had been married twice,
and there were several children by his first wife, none by the second.
Administrators of WHITEHEAD filed an answer setting up a marriage contract
as a bar to claims of dower. Marriage contract, was made by William
WHITEHEAD & Lydia WHITEHEAD, then Lydia CADE, of Franklin County, 24 August
1832.
