Francis (29) is on the 1871 UK census together with his wife Elizabeth (27) and daughters
Mary Jane (7), Elizabeth Ellen (3) and Rossina (1).
At the time of the census, Francis and family were living in Northumberland and I think
that the Cornish accent of Francis may have confused the Northumberland ears of the
enumerator, as the locations for their births do not make a lot of sense.
Francis is shown as Wendover Cornwall in the transcript - could this be Wendron?
Elizabeth is shown as Redbourn and the girls as Gauslake.
Non of the locations make sense to me.
Does anybody have these Caddys in their tree, and have any idea of where they come from?
Cheers
