Thanks for that info.
I always thought I was a royal !!
On a more serious note,I cant help thinking that I am Irish,
I love the music ,I was always told I looked Irish when I was young.so who
knows.
We also have a McCadden Drive in California,my niece found it last year &
apparently our name did have the Mc,in the past.I have actually traced my
grt grt grandfather,he was born in Coventry England,1840,maybe when I order
his birth & marriage certificate,it will tell me whart I want to know.
thanks once again.

I was born in Stirling Scotland, moved about a bit .. Australia, family
emigrated
there in 63, came home joined the Royal Air Force, went abroad ..
oil related work ... came home, settled in the North East of Scotland ... 3
miles up the road from me, guess what I find out about? a ruined castle
"Castle Cadden" ... have I come home or what? not much left of it just some
very low wall mounds covered with grass .. but who know what lies beneath?
My father comes from Glasgow but he does not know for sure where his
father came
from, his dad was killed in the first war when he was about 1
year old .. his mum never spoke of him. He thinks his dad may have come from
the South of Ireland.
My sister runs an Irish music place/promotions in NY .. Dara Records ...
Irish in
the blood?
